The improved version includes a set of popular and familiar functions as well as new ones. OLAP ModelKit™ is completely written in C# and includes only .NET managed code. However, product flexibility and functionality is comparable to analogous ActiveX components. OLAP ModelKit™ features all the requirements needed for the creation and maintenance of professional business intelligence applications. As well, optimization of the library core allows increased calculation speed and decreased short-term memory usage. It is possible to carry out calculations using a separate thread without user-interface “freezing”. It is also possible to manage calculations manually. An interactive value grouping has been added in order to raise the quality of the analysis. At the same time, you can use any .NET data sources including ADO.NET and IList.
Perpetuum Software makes an effort to assist developers with component learning, adjustment, and embedding and, as well, end users with reports management.
