01/18/2012 - SharpShooter Collection 6.1 Release: New WPF Report Viewer, Advanced Export to Excel, and More.
Perpetuum Software LLC is happy to announce the availability of a long awaited SharpShooter Collection 6.1, a suite of components for the creation of Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), ASP.NET Web Forms, HTML5+JavaScript, and Silverlight reporting and data visualization applications.
One of the most crucial updates in the Collection is an advanced WPF report viewer for SharpShooter Reports that allows the creation of feature-rich Windows-based apps with advanced UI customization features.
SharpShooter Reports.Web now features a new HTML5-based zoom and the ability to use Item Templates to create WCF Service in Visual Studio.
All editions of SharpShooter Reports now include the considerably improved export to Excel: thanks to a new Open XML (.xlsx) export filter it is possible to export reports to Excel using text styles and formatting, charts, images, etc.
Work with SharpShooter Collection 6.1 becomes even more productive thanks to minor improvements and bug fixes in all the included components.
