Perpetuum Software announces the release of Report Sharp-Shooter 5.1 and Report Sharp-Shooter for Silverlight 5.1. These products are intended for the creation of reports for Windows forms, ASP.Net and Silverlight applications.

New version of the reporting engine offers a list of essential features to increase the component usability and powerfulness. Report Sharp-Shooter proved itself as an advanced component capable of providing up-to-date solution to complete even the most complicated tasks. it is possible thanks to the flexible script editor. Report Sharp-Shooter 5.1 script editor includes almost all the features that can be found in the Visual Studio code Editor, including code autocompletion, syntax highlighting for C#, VB.NET and SQL, code outlining, unlimited undo/redo, bookmarks, drag-n-drop, built-in search/replace dialogs, displaying gutter, line numbers and many more.

Ribbon report designer interface is improved in a new version. Version 5.1 includes new user interface icons, improved style editor interface, ability to size the document using the Rule. Now, all inner designer forms are of the same style as the report designer itself.

Report Sharp-Shooter for Silverlight 5.1 offers new printing options. Now, it is possible to print documents in landscape mode.

New version of the report generator provides fixes for the issues that were suggested by our clients. The fixed issues deals with PDF export filter. There was also added such a feature essential for our clients as ability to hide/show totals in pivot table.
