11/09/2011 - Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.10 has been released.

Perpetuum Software is glad to inform our users about new release of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.10. The product proved itself as a powerful solution which combines advantages of two technologies SQL Server Reporting Services and Silverlight to provide your users with convenient tool for immediate data analysis based on SSRS reports.

New version of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.10 features improved drill through action. Custom handler of the action allows the getting of the additional information about the object on demand. The work with large reports became less time consuming due to ability to remove pages from the pages buffer. There was huge memory consumption if a report was large. Now, if a lot of pages are loaded then the pages distant from the current page will be removed from the memory.

Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.10 offers advanced usability in errors handling. Instead of “Not found” message you get precise data on where, why and what error occurs.

Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.10 also includes such improvements as:

  • Work with non-standard fonts;
  • Hiding of unnecessary buttons on the toolbar;
  • Minor shortcomings and bugs fixes.
