01/17/2011 - Perpetuum Software Partners with Aspose to Deliver New Features to SSRS Developers.

Perpetuum Software is glad to announce about the partnership with Aspose, an award-winning vendor of highest quality file format components for SQL Server Reporting Services. The main objective of this partnership is the opportunity to ensure direct support for Aspose Rendering Extensions in Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services.

Thanks to joint work of Perpetuum Software and Aspose, developers can build and deliver powerful Silverlight applications with advanced exporting capabilities replacing standard SSRS export features and/or adding new ones. In total, it is possible to add 20+ export options and enable their use directly from UI of a Silverlight application.

Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services supports all Aspose Rendering Extensions, including Aspose.Words, Aspose.Slides, Aspose.Cells, Aspose.PDF and Aspose.Flash. Developers can ensure the export of RDL Reports to DOC, DOCX, RTF, WordML, PDF, PPT, PPS, XLS, SpreadsheetML, and XLSX without using Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat. The exported RDL report appears exactly according to the RDL design.

The use of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services and Aspose Rendering Extensions together is very easy: almost no coding is required!
