Perpetuum Software LLC announces the release of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.6 – the unique product which allows the display of SQL Server Reporting Services reports in Silverlight applications without using any complicated code.
The main task of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services is to provide the same abilities for work in Silverlight applications as in Reporting Services with maximum similarity in reports display. Bearing in mind the described above a new version 2.6 includes such features as:
- Drillthrough action in charts in Silverlight Viewer. Actions defined in the chart provide drillthrough links to reports that display greater details based on the aggregate in the main report. Now, you can easily find the needed information in the report via chart in Silverlight application.
- Improvements in work with localization files. Now, it became easier to build reports in the language you need. You can include localization files into Silverlight application without uploading them from the server. Rendering Extension (SSRS) can use the localization you set. Now, all the dates, numbers and so on will be display correctly since localization data for report building will be passed to SSRS.
- Ability to check the parameters values in parameters toolbar and to customize the parameters visibility.
