09/23/2010 - Display Reporting Services Reports in Silverlight with New Features.

Perpetuum Software continues developing flexible solution for corporate business reporting systems which combines MS SQL Server Reporting Services and Silverlight technology. A new release of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.5 is now available.

Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services is a native Silverlight control which allows the display of any Reporting Services reports in Silverlight apps.

A new version of the product provides more comfortable work in Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. It is possible to add service via Visual Studio menu if you use reporting services templates. Working with generated reports was improved. Display of page thumbnails and bookmarks as in Acrobat Reader allows the easy and usual navigation through the large reports. A new option of parameters setting dialog was added. “Select all” option makes it possible to check all parameters values with a single mouse click.

Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services 2.5 offers bug fixes; it increases component productivity and eliminates shortcoming when working with Silverlight viewer.

Combination of two powerful technologies: SQL Server Reporting Services and Silverlight, in one component provides all abilities intended for the creation of up-to-date professional business system capable of solving the most complicated tasks.
