Perpetuum Software has released the first on the market product for displaying Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services reports in Silverlight applications.
Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services is fully compatible with Silverlight 3. This allows developers to use out-of-browser mode, which provides the ability to save Silverlight applications on PC and MAC.
Support for report parameters provides you with the ability to optimize data processing within a report and specify information needed for any particular purpose. It is possible to filter report data by date, number, period and analyze it according to particular parameter. The use of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services allows the interactive report data sorting in ascending and descending order. Export to the most popular formats, such as PDF, Excel, Html, Cvs, Xml, Mhtml and TIFF is available.
Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services provides high-quality data representation in the browser with support for Silverlight. You can manipulate reports in Web browser in the same way you do it in Windows applications. Various preview and zooming modes, rich facilities of data visualization, scrolling and panning are at your discretion. User-friendly API allows the developer to control all the aspects of the viewer’s behavior from code.
The current version of the product supports Sql Reporting Services 2005.
