Challenge
We attach great importance to always being on the latest level of technology. coresystems corp. is an official SAP ISV Solution Partner. We analyze and develop all Swiss standard customizations for SAP corp. In order to add new features and facilitate working with SAP Business One we were looking for a reporting component to integrate it into our AddOn called coresuite designer which extends the existing reporting/layouting capabilities of a product. We needed a well performing .Net component which allows the creation of reports bound to any .Net data sources. Our other key requirements were:
  • security of having the source code;
  • clean and stable not changing rendering output.
As a result of our search we chosen SharpShooter Reports developed by Perpetuum Software LLC.
Solution
SharpShooter Reports Because Report Sharp Shooter used .NET, C# as well it was a natural decision and we could integrate SharpShooter Reports fast and seamlessly into coresuite designer. Our customers now can define their own data sources and layout them in a template. The layouts can then be started directly from within SAP Business One. They also have a lot of possibilities when it comes to print orders (for example: a sales order can be printed together with a label list) and they have a lot of options when it comes to printing physically to a printer / tray. This was not possible with the other existing solutions.

 A great progress in printing speed was achieved with the new coresuite designer. We could extend the SAP Business One significantly so that now it is possible to make better use of the ERP system. We also have a very good support from Perpetuum Software Technical Support Team so we are of course happy that we can work together with Perpetuum Software LLC.
