"TRIAL" appears in the sharpshooter reports

Hi Support

I have registered my license and followed instructions to embed the license with the resources. But on deployment I still get the word "TRIAL" embedded among the sharp shooter reports. So what am i missing ?

Cheers
Vijay

Hello,

Please, make sure you executed the Build Runtime License before you deployed your application. In order to do it, select the corresponding item in the contextual menu of the project. If you did it, please send me your App_Resource.dll

There is no "build runtime license" context menu option when I right click on licenses.licx file. This is for a ASP.NET web application project.

Hello,

Yes, Build runtime license should be executed during deployment of ASP.NET web application project, and our component is intended for the work with such projects.

Which is not happening in my case. Can you let me know what I need to check to make sure I have the configuration correct ?
The runtime license is not being compiled and the reports run on the deployed website come up with "TRIAL". The instructions on your website seem to be for .NET "Website" project which includes the context menu "Buld runtime licsense". But I am using the .NET Web application project which does not have this option.

Hello,

In order to find out the reason of such problems with licensing, please send us the license.licx file and compiled dll file to [email protected]

I am not sure I can send you my compiled DLL. It is a company software and it is against our interest to hand over the DLL to third party for fear of reverse engineering. Can you please let me know what I need to check for ? Can you send me instructions on what to check ? I can check them up myself.

Cheers

Hello,

Please, download the program for license checking. Open the dll file using this program and save the information. Send this information and your project license.licx file to [email protected]. You can download this program here:

I am having the same problem. Did this ever get resolved?

I have a web application that i have tried to compile in VS2005 and VS2008.

I am using sharpshooter v4.02.

At design time, I do not get the "TRIAL", only when compiled on the server at runtime.

Hello,

Please read information about licensing:

http://www.perpetuumsoft.com/FaqDetail.aspx?id=37&pid=41&category=18&ft=1

If you don’t succeed, please, write what steps you implemented and what went wrong.
Please, also specify what forms your application is of – win or web? Besides ,what is the version of the library and what components from our library are you using?

Please, send us your license.licx file and also exe or dll of your project if it’s possible.

Best regards
