Sync 2008 database onto 2005 server
At the moment, attempting to synchronise the structure of a database held on an SQL 2008 server to that of a database held on an SQL 2005 server causes an exception.
Is it possible in any way to force the synchronisation to take place, perhaps disable the check on versions?
I'm aware that a 2008 database could contain features that aren't available in a 2005 database and so couldn't be synchronised, however if the developer knows that the two are compatible, it'd be great to be able to force the synchronisation.
Any help you can offer on this would be much appreciated.

Synchronization of database structure of SQL 2008 in the direction of SQL 2005 is not possible in the current version of the product by the reasons which you described

Is it possible that this will be added in an update, perhaps just an option to disable the version check or carry on regardless?
